Opportunity
SOCAP’s mission is to “unlock the power of markets for impact,” which it does by exploring innovative solutions at its flagship annual event and facilitating connections throughout the growing impact sector and SOCAP community. Since 2020, Bark has worked with SOCAP Global to strategize and execute an annual audience growth, engagement, and conversion campaign that grows the reach of powerful impact solutions at scale and drives ticket sales for the flagship event. While increasing year-over-year ticket revenue, we also design and execute a broader content marketing strategy to build and strengthen audience relationships year-round.

Outcome
Starting in November 2023, Bark developed and led the 2024 event ticket sales strategy. Our strategy combined list-build efforts with follow-on conversion-focused outreach, sales milestones mapped to programming announcements, targeted event information presented to specific segments of potential registrants, and email and social retargeting to convert engaged audiences.

Focus on growing the marketing list of potential first-time attendees.
While SOCAP has a deeply engaged return audience, about half of its attendees each year are new. Our strategy emphasized introducing the event to potential first-time attendees.
Personalize communications to highlight the value proposition to various audience segments.
SOCAP invites people from all sectors to the problem-solving table to design workable, durable solutions at scale. This provides the opportunity to define the client’s value for various audience segments and engage return attendees as champion community builders.
Maximize the reach of event content.
We translate video recordings, testimonials, and recorded conversations into articles, podcasts, and social media reels/posts to further the reach of SOCAP’s mission, message, and potential audience.
