Opportunity
Since 2017, Bark Media has partnered with the nonprofit Bioneers to accelerate its work exploring and facilitating innovative, nature-inspired solutions for pressing environmental and social issues. The organization’s role as a catalyst for change culminates in an annual event, providing an opportunity for Bark to support Bioneers in attracting existing and new audiences and engaging them in conversation about game-changing solutions to major global challenges.

Outcome
Starting in December 2024, Bark launched a multi-channel strategy to build momentum leading up to the March 2025 event. The campaign emphasized smart audience segmentation, timely content, and strategic partnerships to turn attention into action.
Key efforts included: performance-driven email campaigns timed to key registration moments; targeted social media (organic + paid) to expand reach and drive conversions; speaker and partner cross-promotion to boost visibility and credibility; onsite content capture to power real-time engagement and ongoing storytelling.
The result? A sold-out event and major gains in digital engagement, list growth, and year-over-year conversions.

Our goal was to generate interest early, guide people to the conference website, and nurture engagement through clear, trackable touchpoints. We worked closely with the Bioneers team and their external partners to align messaging and maximize impact — laying the groundwork for a high-performing campaign.

The Bioneers conference atmosphere succeeds in provoking critical learnings for attendees and yields numerous collaborations. Helping new audiences visualize this unique experience and value was a critical promotional component.
Extend post-event reach and impact with dynamic content for ongoing engagement.
On-the-ground content-capture by Bark along with a team of video documentarians yielded a wide collection of material from keynotes, panels, working sessions, and other activities — creating the basis for a continuous flow of editorial content delivered to audiences throughout the year.
